    Default Hi from Otterslidedog

Otterslidedog is a name I came up with one day when looking for a geocaching name. The Name that I had been using was taken so I started thinking about my favorite pass time canoeing. Otterslide is a lake and a stream in Algonquin Park. The dog part is for my bow buddy.

I have been canoeing for over 25 years now and have logged some very interesting miles and trips. My canoe is a Kawartha made in Peterbrough Ont. Today it is all beaten up with patches and duct tape marks all over it. The first gouge was painful however now they are all beauty marks. This spring I snapped my two best paddles but that is a story for another day.

New Brunswick Canada is my home now and the canoeing is great. We have a healthy selection of Rivers, Lakes and Ocean.

Looking forward to becoming a member of this very interesting page.

Welcome. We are always glad to see friends from across the pond, the homeland of open canoeing.

Can't promise we will not hate you for the water you have access too though

You have to get you @$$ back east for a trip before freeze up. Spednic or St.Croix maybe. How are the rivers in the land of gold and money?

Deliberate misquoting here, but what's that thing about nations separated by a common language ?
