Can I ask what may be a stupid question?

What are snakeskins and how are they used with hammocks?

Basically they're elaticated tubes attached at one to one rigging cord/rope/tape. When you're done and packing up, you simply half pull & push the skin over the hammock from either end inwards and your left with a snake-like hammock in a cloth tube. When you come to the next night's camp; all you have to do string the hammock, pull the skins back and hey presto, you're ready to go.
Still got to rig the tarp if you need one.

Thanks, I can see where that'd be a handy thing.
