    Default just registered

I have known of SOTP for quite a while and have made a few visits to the site in that time. It was actually a friend of mine, Enray, that kind of inspired me to register and maybe take a more active participation.

I have paddled for quite a few years and am a BCU L4 coach. Will be running a workshop at the 2008 Symposium, be good to meet folk if you're there.

I have paddled most of the UK along with South of France and Sweden, in the 80's I did a trip from Whitehorse to Dawson City on the Yukon too.

Looking forward to meeting folk and sharing experiences.

    Welcome along.

I met Enray back in January, we really must arrange a paddle sometime.

Glad you decided to join, participation is what the site is about.

Unfortunatly I'm going to miss the symposium this year, its my sons 10th birthday that weekend and I get the impression there won't be much on for kids to get involved in. Hopefully I'll make it along in future years.

Hopefully we'll meet on the water at somepoint.

Thanks for the reply Silvergirl. It's a shame you're not going to get to the symposium. I was hoping to run a 'kids' session this year. As it is I'm not sure what Gareth has lined up for me yet...

    Welcome

Like Silvergirl I doubt I will be able to make it to the symposium this year but I am sure our paths will cross sometime.

Thanks for all the replies and great welcome to SOTP.

I will be showing off my new SOTP vinyl badge on my boat (hopefully it arrives) at the symposium; if you're there come and chat.
