    Mad Dave here. Some know me from BCUK others who don't will find i'm an easygoing kinda dude who gets on with almost everyone I meet.

    Been thinking about a canoe for a while and thought I'd have a look here before I take the plunge

    Ahh But which one?? I have had a paddle in an inflatable Orca but that's my lot and I'm really unsure what to look at

    Hi Dave nice to see you over here mate. Welcome to the site.
    Drop me a pm on BCUK if you want to get out for a paddle, something nice and easy for your first. There are a few great canals in the area that are worth doing and a few that I want to revisit soon. I will sort out a spare canoe and you can use mine if you want. I might even be bringing it to middlemud.
