    Default Inchcialloch weekend Round 2

As there seems to be a bit of interest in a weekend at Inchcialloch again a the end of the season I thought it would be worth seeing when people thought would be a good time. The hard part is going to be getting a balance between a time when Loch Lomond is quiet and trying to get it before it gets too stormy.

So when do you think would be good?

Info about the location etc is on the original thread here

Em wasn't it a bit stormy last time we were there ? Or are you just a glutton for punishment John ?

Never doubted it for a minute but the question was when do we think would be the best time

Late September or early October should be good for us. My turn this time, or maybe the whole family if theres enough space for us.

23/24 Sept is okay for us.

But only if there is no wind this time!!

Sounds great and would love to come if there was space, but 23/24/25 September is "September weekend" and I'm already booked then.

As a newbie to the forum I'll just have to wait until next year and get the date into my calendar early!

There is also a meet up down south that people want to go to so I would tend to go for another weekend. I will have a look at dates then post once one is picked.

Also keep in mind that there is likely to be another Loch Ackray meet which will be a combined BCUK meet up as well. This has still to be set but is just down to picking a midgie free time.

I can't make the 23rd sept. as I've got a navigation course on that weekend, the following wkend would be better.

I'd be in for the 23rd/24th Sept.

I think Jac wants to go, too.

And Reece might be up for it (if that's OK, as he's a nearly forum member reading over my shoulder)

I think the Wye trip has now been firmed up for the w/e of the 23rd September, so I would be much happier if it were to be sometime in October. This time I might make it!

Not yet. I have not been lucky getting through on the phone when I have called. Also there is a good strong chance of another Loch Achray meet in October so that might confuse things a bit as well.
