Default Paddle in - Cache out.

The last few posts on Amelias Fishing thread have got me thinking.

I spend a fair bit of my working time along the shores of Loch Awe, and the copious quantities of rubbish left behind by "water orientated visitors" is a constant frustration (some of them do bag it up neatly for the faeries to remove though!).

Would anyone be interested in an autumn weekend trip where we could help clean up some of the less accessible areas of the shoreline, while having a fine paddle? Very vague plans just now, but I'm thinking along the lines of a Saturday clean-up day, social camp in the evening & play day on the Sunday. I can organise a wild camp & a stack of cut firewood.

    Any thoughts?

If the dates fit, I'm in.
If it wasn't for the rain in our lives there would be no rivers. X 2

We should be able to help out if it doesn't clash with anything . Think there has already been talk about something similar on Loch Lomond / Loch Ba . Just needs someone to put it in motion

I'd be happy to apply my paddling to some rubbish. It would make a change from the word rubbish being applied to my paddling.

I'd be up for it too, although depends on my shift pattern!

I'm waiting for the rangers at Loch Lomond to get back to me about one on there.
