    Default Ireland Meet?

Anyone fancy having a get together on this side of the Irish sea for SOTP members?
How about a weekend sometime over the summer or at least a one day meeting to put faces to the names.

If so lets put our heads together and get something arranged. I would prefer an island camping trip so that sort of narrows it down a bit. But with all the cheap flights being advertised, it would be open to anyone from the other side of the water too. I'm sure we could scrounge up a few spare canoes for those of you who would like to come over.

Hi Al. I might be interested in a meetup. I'm based in Cork.

Yeah, I'm up for a night under the stars on an island. Saturday night would be good for me.

    Thumbs up

I'm game too. If anyone's going to the Wild-live meetup, I'll be dropping in for a while and we can share some ideas also. A weekend trip would be excellent!

Yeah, I'm happy to share my canoe and can pick up anyone if needs be.

See you there on Saturday, Peter.

A possible trip might be to Ram's Island on Lough Neagh. It is possible to camp/Hammock there and can be approached from many different directions depending on how much paddling you want to do.

Another place would be Salt Island on Strangford lough. The warden offered to let us leave our cars at Castleward in the past although we never took him up on the offer in the end.
    Has anyone else any suggestions?
