    Alpha 2.2 pots review

Sea to Summit kindly agreed to send me a set of their Alpha Pots to review. I’m not being paid for the review and get to say what I want without running it by them. I do get to keep the pots though so if you think that’s enough to buy my opinion you can keep it in mind

The set I got sent is the 2.2 set most suitable for two people. https://www.seatosummit.co.uk/produc...ha-pot-set-22/

The specs are in the link above. All packed together it looks like this.

Then Russian doll style you reveal more and more as shown below.

The Lil, Big & Big Larry Pro Reviews.

There are a few reviews in the past where I am really confident people will love the item. The sort of reviews where the whole thing could just be, “trust me, it’s great, get one”. The Muck Boot reviews fell into that category. They were a product I thought pretty much everyone would love and get value from. Well today I get to do a review of another product I feel the same about. I’ve been raving to people about this for about a year now so time to do an official review of the latest offering. So brace your wallet we are going in.

This is really going to be a review of the Big Larry Pro the latest iteration of the Larry torches. Along the way we will cover the features and discuss the Lil Larry ...

MSR brought out their Windburned stove last year. It was originally called the Windboiler. It is their entry into the market pretty much started by the Jetboil. The idea is simple, a stove that is self contained and will boil water / heat up food, with ruthless efficiency. What the Windburner does that it’s competitors don’t is complete this task even strong winds without the need for any wind break.

However as well as discussing this stove I want to give my thoughts on how this class of stove can replace some existing items I carry. As you can ...

Thermarest Neoair All Season, Mini Pump and Auriga Blanket review/s

I have long been a fan of the Neoair mattresses. Russ first review one of these back in 2010 http://www.songofthepaddle.co.uk/for...-NeoAir-Review. Since then they have brought out an all season version which is a bit heavier but warmer and tougher. I have used one of these as my main mat for the last few years and am a big fan. Themarest sent me the current model to review along with the Auriga Blanket. I’ve been testing these out for a while now so here are my thoughts.

A few weeks ago the folks at http://www.gearbest.com/ contacted me to see if I would review a few products. Once it was made clear I was free to give an honest review I agreed. Also as a bonus they agreed to a discount for SotP members for a period after the review was posted.

The first thing I have been sent for review is the SJ4000 Wifi Action Cam, see here http://www.gearbest.com/action-cameras/pp_77096.html These clearly started as a GoPro copy, however, they have developed a strong following and have begun to develop in their own right. So much so that you now get clones of the SJ4000. The SJ does have some features the GoPro does not, like Motion ...

Like many of you I have spent a lot of time looking for a good camp chair. It has to be comfortable, light and easy to pack. Stable and able to withstand all the riggers of camp life. Ideally it will be cheap.

I started out not bothering to take a chair and used to sit in my hammock but that was too far from the fire and could not be easily moved. Then I tried the cheap chairs you get in petrol stations and supermarkets. They are light enough and comfortable but break quickly and don't pack easily. I tired a lightweight camp chair that was a bit low slung and fragile. You had to get out of ...
