Sure enough, beds. The small patch of fir is on a point between the lake and a tag alder swamp

Snuck out of the house early the next morning with "Old Esther," and got downwind before daylight. Set myself on a piece of styrofoam (cold ...

We met at the St Clears Boat Club in Lower St Clears with the tide just reaching its maximum. Rohan and Nigel sorted out the shuttle whilst I looked after

  5. Cavaliers and Roundheads

One of my younger cousins recently contacted me with some questions about the English branch of the family tree. I've long been an amature historian, and have found out a few things about the ancestors. His request made me do a bit more research and I uncovered a few more facts.

Genealogy is boring as hell to anyone who's not related, and you have to be a pretty dedicated historian to be interested in charts containing nothing but names and dates.
